Well, the Marvel Universe is full of inconsistencies and contradictions by its very nature. It has too many writers, too many stories and a wanton disregard, at times, for continuity. So as long as you accept that you will run into a story that doesn't quite fit, it's not the end of the world when one does. Since I focus only on Wolverine (I think I would go mad if I tried to extend it to say Spider-Man), the case of 1968 was perplexing. Because I placed that story very firmly in the mid to late 1950s. I finally said, well sometimes things don't work exactly, but this story is from that era. And Larry Hama stories are full of those weird contradictions -- sometimes he contradicts even himself (look at the Ben Grimm/Wolverine miniseries that is supposed to take place AFTER Logan gets his claws!) Quite true, quite true. There are some plot elements that cannot be reconciled regardless of the situation. Well, as far as I can tell this pretty much wraps up this particular discussion. Yet another gem of one, I might add. Of course if anyone has anything else to add, feel free. Ha. |

Heh... A lot of fun. But when will the discussion have taken place ten years from now. That is the real question. |

DiG, what do you think about merging the Wolverine Future forum with the Wolverine Alternate. http://forums.wolverinefiles.com/topic/1420521/1/#new This was Ace's idea. |

Something I've noticed when going to other forums is how there can be different threads for the same issue ...i.e. “Daredevil #110 solicitation“, "Daredevil #110 Preview" and then five days later "Daredevil #110 discussion". That's perfectly alright of course, but what I'd do is to have one thread for all that from when it appears on solicitation (if someone is interested enough to post it) right through to when it comes out for people to discuss. You know, where it would be simply "Daredevil #110" and encompass all that. I don't know if anyone will go for it, probably not, but tell me what you think or if I'm not making myself clear I'll post again. |

Random question: is it possible that we could have the option of putting more posts on a single page of a thread? Like, 20 or something? Not a big deal, but it might make browsing a bit smoother. |

Never mind. Just found out how to change that on my own preferences page. Sorry for taking up the bytes-space.
