The problem is that everyone chooses either Spider-Man, Wolverine, Batman, or Superman. And if they force you to make your own characters, they make lookalikes for the aforementioned characters. I can't speak for the quality of the game itself, but there is a pattern to the way people play them.

You will not be able to choose to be any of the main, established characters. You can create your own (while choosing different power combos, Ex. power over the earth, like Terra or Geo-Force, AND having super-speed) or make your character similar to the main hero you admire.
