Logan appears as the mysterious "Hooded Man" in this spin off from Mark Miller's Fantastic Four run. I'm not sure what I feel about this series, I don't know much about writer JOE AHEARNE, but I am willing to give this series a chance. I suppose these characters do exist in the Marvel Universe right? Since they at least appeared in the 616 universe briefly. Now that this series and X-Men Forever are going to be ongoing, some how Logan has joined yet two more team books. (Unless Claremont takes Logan out of X-Men: Forever.) I guess since these have nothing to do with the other titles though, anyone but the diehard fans DiG and I can ignore them though. As you can tell I am in the middle on this one. The second issue does have Logan in it, dealing with a knowledge that his team mates don't know about. And for one odd reason or another, I think the Phoenix appears. Yeah... excuse me if I roll my eyes at the mentioning of the Phoenix. She is such a over done character for me, this just gives me a bad feeling for the story. But I'm not going to start hating on it until I have read at least two or three issues first. Link: http://www.marvel.com/catalog/?id=11482 Also. This series comes in at the same time as a bunch of other Wolverine titles hit the stores. April 1st is also the release of Wolverine: Weapon X and three one shots. (Plus he appears in Cable) |
