I believe that's it was already noted by The Wolverine Files news section that there would be a Free Comic Book Day issue featuring Wolverine: "Origin of an X-Man", written by Fred Van Lente, art by Gurihiru (Power Pack) and a cover by Ed McGuinness. Again, here's the original news source... http://goodcomics.comicbookresources.com/2008/12/06/van-lente-wolverine-free-comic-book-day-2009/ But, there will also be another Free Comic Book Day brand-new one-shot from Marvel, featuring the Avengers! But which ones? http://www.freecomicbookday.com/the_comics.asp The mighty Thor and both the New and Dark Avengers join forces against the frost-giant Ymir in a battle that will have terrifying consequences for the Marvel Universe — and for these heroes — in the days to come. Top-flight creators Brian Michael Bendis and Jim Cheung combine talents to bring you an absolutely essential all-new touchstone story for what's coming up in the Marvel Universe — and it's yours, absolutely FREE. Wolverine! Daken! Avengers! Thor! Ymir, the Frost Giant! Free! ![]() And how will Wolverine fair against someone like Ymir? Well, Marvel Executive Editor Tom Brevoort just added a sneak-peek page from said issue, here... http://www.marvel.com/blogs/Tom_Brevoort/entry/1430.Art_Avalanche%21 Remember, Free Comic Book Day is May 2nd, 2009. Bring yourself, bring friends to a participating store...cause not only is there Wolvie goodness, but a lot of great FCBD offerings!
