I believe that's it was already noted by The Wolverine Files news section that there would be a Free Comic Book Day issue featuring Wolverine: "Origin of an X-Man", written by Fred Van Lente, art by Gurihiru (Power Pack) and a cover by Ed McGuinness.

Again, here's the original news source...

But, there will also be another Free Comic Book Day brand-new one-shot from Marvel, featuring the Avengers! But which ones?

http://www.freecomicbookday.com/the_comics.asp

The mighty Thor and both the New and Dark Avengers join forces against the frost-giant Ymir in a battle that will have terrifying consequences for the Marvel Universe — and for these heroes — in the days to come.

Top-flight creators Brian Michael Bendis and Jim Cheung combine talents to bring you an absolutely essential all-new touchstone story for what's coming up in the Marvel Universe — and it's yours, absolutely FREE.

Wolverine! Daken! Avengers! Thor! Ymir, the Frost Giant! Free!

And how will Wolverine fair against someone like Ymir? Well, Marvel Executive Editor Tom Brevoort just added a sneak-peek page from said issue, here...

Remember, Free Comic Book Day is May 2nd, 2009. Bring yourself, bring friends to a participating store...cause not only is there Wolvie goodness, but a lot of great FCBD offerings!

From those unable to download the pdf file, Marvel.com provides the preview pages to Wolverine: Origin of an X-Man, by Fred Van Lente and Gurihiru.
