i always pictured him as the last hero standing fighting against impossible odds to save the last remnants of humanity from some form of global catastrophe or invasion. |

....And the last man standing would be a mutant, the one meant to kill them all? Poetically fitting! |

Personally I think a death similar to Chewbacca from Star Wars would be fitting....throw a friggin' moon at him! |

I'd see him taken out once and for all by the ONLY man up for the job. GROO. But seriously folks... honestly, no matter what they came up with to end his character, I probably wouldn't agree with it, even though I don't really have my own idea on the matter to argue it against. I just wouldn't like it, regardless. What I would like to see happen is to have all of his solo titles end so that he only appears in The Uncanny X-Men for awhile, and maybe have him meet his demise there. Sort of like, let his appearance become increasingly rare, so that the fans can really look foreward to him when he does show up in a story. Also maybe have the Hulk finally do it... and written by Len Wein and drawn by John Romita, Sr. (or Jr. most likely) like a "full circle" kind of thing for him, I don't know. The nightmare scenario would be for Larry Hama to write it... and for Rob Leifeld to draw it! |
