The Bowery, 1937. Jim Logan, the fiercest knife expert in New York, runs a seedy detective agency called "LOGAN & LOGAN"...along with his useless, halfwit brother, Dog. They're the best they are at what they do. But when a swanky dame named Mariko Yashida struts into the office, she opens up a world of hurt for Logan, forcing him to revisit his painful, bloody past.
The latest in the Marvel Noir series, WOLVERINE NOIR reunites the acclaimed WOLVERINE team of Stuart Moore (IRON MAN) and C.P. Smith (The Programme).

I certainly am. Stuart Moore and C.P. Smith were the creative team behind one of my favourite Wolverine solo stories of the past few years - "The Package" from WOLVERINE #41. Some bites of information from Moore:

When I asked him about if the series would be set in normal MU back in October, Stuart responded:
Stuart Moore

...the Logan timeline did occur to me -- of all the Noir books, this one could take place within regular continuity. But the line has a common background and some ground rules that would make that impossible. The weird thing is that Logan is just Logan to me, no matter what setting you put him in. I think that's why he's such a durable character.

And he recently posted:
Stuart Moore

The brief for the Noir line was to reimagine Marvel's characters as non-powered characters in a dark, crime-oriented setting. WIth Wolverine, that was easy. To me he's always been just a tough guy with knives; the only difference here is that the knives aren't built-in. Instead, he's a down-and-out P.I. in 1937, running the detective agency LOGAN & LOGAN with his partner, Dog. Everyone thinks they're brothers...but the truth is much more tangled than that. When Dog disappears on an errand for the beautiful Mariko Yashida, Logan's dark past comes bubbling back up in a paroxysm of guilt and violence.

Sounds pretty awesome, huh?

Wonder if it'll be in the same universe as the X-men and spider-man one.

New York City, 1937. Private detective Jim Logan’s partner, Dog, is missing…and Logan’s determined to find him, even if he has to spread a trail of blood and broken hearts across the Bowery. But chances of finding Dog alive aren’t looking good as all signs point to a dangerous gangster called Creed…who might just be too much for one down-and-out P.I. to handle.
