Well keep in mind Thomas says he's the blood father, does not mean he actually is. Even if he believes himself to be. Not like there was DNA testing back then. I'm sure he was sleeping with Elizabeth but so was John. In truth either could be until and unless there is some sort of definite test.

For years, some Wolvie fans argued that his claws were implants despite BWS dropping hints in Weapon X that Logan's claws were bone. After Wolvie's battle with Magneto, leaving Logan without his Adamantium, it was firmed up that Logan's claws were indeed part of his being a mutant -- bone. This was cleared up and cemented by the writers at Marvel.

We were told that Logan was a native of Canada for years, but we didn't know for sure until Jemas, Joe Q, and Jenkins wrote Origin. Now we know for sure he was born in Canada and fans have accepted it.

Tons have hints have been dropped that Thomas is Wolverine's biological father. I believe the writers at Marvel are moving in this direction and are firming it up. I hope so.

That's what I was trying to say earlier.

Well unless we get some sort of official pre-Origins series, I don't really see how they can firm it up any more. Yes he had sex with Logan's mother, but did he spawn Logan? Nothing says for certain

Maybe John was shooting blanks? Who knows? It's kinda hard to do a DNA test on fictional characters. LOL! (Just kidding, by the way!) You make good points, for sure.

Essentially in this situation you can pretty much believe whichever way you want to. No one to prove it so either option is valid.
