While some of us may gripe about current storyliness, there may not have been a worse storyline than when Wolverine started to devolve after losing his adamanatium. Anyone else remember feral Wolverine? UGH! |

Jesus. I stopped collecting Wolverine comics because of that story line. Every time he took off his weird bandanna mask, I would scream "put it back on! put it back on!" It was hard to tell him and Hank apart, they were both short mops of body hair. (With pointy toe nails)![]() Oh god it burns! |

There were too many 'inconsistencies' in the Wolverine chronology. As I'm re-reading every X-Men book since Hulk 180, I want to remind you about the time when the world thought the X-Men were dead and they use that sitiation as a cover to protect all their friends and families(Fall of the Mutants, when the X-Men fought the demon called the Adversary). In the early issues of Wolverine (in Madripoor) he goes by 'Patch' as cover, but he interacts with many characters close to him(to name a few, Karma, Spider-Woman) and we are to believe they don't recognize Logan only because he doesn't pop his claws. Odd. |

Seeing a guy who looks like guy who you know is dead, who isnt that similar because he wears an eye patch wears different clothes and probably has a different voice. I think he could pull it off. |

I made it all to way to Inferno thanks to the Essentials. I think after the Inferno series, some of his solo adventures started picking up around Marvel Comics Presents. That was when his ongoing series picked up too right? |

Yep. Before you label a book as the "worst Wolverine story" ever, you really should read all the Wolverine Essentials. Feral Wolverine can be found in Essential 5 which I'm currently reading over for a second time. The artist of the above image is Val Semeiks , who draws a absolutely horrible Wolverine. Both this version and normal Logan always came out bulky and awkward. His art may have improved since then, but looking at his work on issues 99, 101, 103, 104, and 105 make my eyes bleed. Adam Kubert drew a awesome Wolverine, he is always going to be my favorite artist . Even when Larry Hama was writing Logan's stories, Kubert's art work made the stories at least somewhat bearable. |

Hmm..it might have been a stretch, but the whole 'quest for humanity' thing, although it may come off as a bit cheesy, had its moments. I kinda enjoyed his conversation with Stick. |

![]() ![]() Anyone notice the similarities? I vote for Logan never to look like Blanka again. |
