Nice collection, Ttandc. I'm very impressed with that Uncanny X-Men run. You should also try to get a copy of X-Men 98 (1st time Wolvie is seen without his mask) and X-Men 103 (1st time Wolvie is called Logan). Oh yeah, 118 is neat issue too because it's Mariko's 1st appearance. I don't have 98 or 118 or even close to the amount of X-Men issues you have. Very nice indeed. Here is a list of some of my Wolverine and Wolverine related comics. I always love to see other fans' collections. That looks like a great collection you have there as well ![]() I do have other marvel collections but thought I'd best put only the wolverine related ones. I'll keep an eye out for the x-men comics you suggested I've noticed on ebay that the close you get to issue 100 and any under the higher the price goes

I had a lot of Image comics and Valiant titles, but I sold them off. I guess I sold close to 300 comics this past summer. I didn't get much for them, but I put the money toward buying more Wolverine related comics. I still need X-Men 98, 118, 133, 141, and 142. I'd love to have a Giant Size X-Men #1, but it's a bit too pricey for a nice copy. I'm also trying to find nice copies (for a good price) of Ms. Marvel #17 and 18 (Mystique issues) as well as a nice copy of Avengers #66 (1st mention of Adamantium). I'm just really trying to make my collection Wolverine-centric. That's why I try to buy 1st appearances of characters who have some type of connection to Logan (e.g., Mystique, Silver Samurai, Sabretooth, Cyber, Deadpool, Kitty Pryde, etc.). And I agree, older X-Men issues in the early 100s and issues prior can be expensive. |

E-bay has been my best source for comics to fill the gaps I have in my collection. Always worth keeping an eye out there ![]() I recently saw the entire 1988 volume going for $400 or best offer on ebay. Bargain price if you have the money

Good information. Believe it or not, I've never purchased anything from Ebay. I have bought from www.mycomicshop.com. They have monthly auctions there, and in fact, they have an auction going on right now until, I think, Tuesday. It's worth checking out. About the complete set of (1988) Wolverine on Ebay -- does it include the #145 Nabisco Variant? I imagine it doesn't. |
